Midnight Madness

Midnight Madness features films that spook, captivate and chill the audience with thrillers and rockumentaries.

In this year’s Toronto International Film Festival, the Midnight Madness programme comprises of many chillers including Jonathan King’s Black Sheep, a film that exposes the nightmare of ’s farmers—the population of 40 million sheep running amok has turned into a reality. After environmental activists release a mutant lamb among the other sheep, it infects the rest of them transforming them into animals that crave human blood.

View Black Sheep on Sunday September 10th at 11:59 p.m. at Ryerson and Tuesday September 12th at 4:45 p.m. at Paramount 1.

In Joe Dante, Ken Russell, Sean Cunningham, Monte Hellman and John Gaeta’s Trapped Ashes, these five brilliant directors show us their visions of the horror that follows six strangers who visit Ultra Studios in Hollywood. The film unfolds stories of sexual obsession, spiritual turmoil, dead souls and twisted pregnancies.

Watch Trapped Ashes on Tuesday September 12th at 11:59 p.m. in Ryerson and Thursday September 14th at 12:15 p.m. in Paramount 4.
